On The Verge aimed to be a  living crossroads sparking radical conversation, rebellious imagination, and the expansion of cultural possibilities in Santa Barbara and beyond. On the Verge began as an award-winning repertory theatre company based in Santa Barbara, California. Each summer with a repertory company of passionate artists and collaborators, we premiere new work and create theatrical events by LGBTQIA, BIPOC, and female/GNC makers in conversation with our national moment. We were dedicated to engaging the community by taking resonant artistic risks and producing bold theatrical pieces in collaboration with the vibrant pool of talent that the Santa Barbara and the greater Los Angeles areas had to offer.
