RILEY BERRIS

Riley Jacqueline Berris (she/her) received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Loyola Marymount University in 2010 where she studied acting. She was trained at the Moscow Theater in 2009 and since then, has earned her Master’s in Education and teaching credential from UC Santa Barbara to teach and direct theater in California. She currently teaches acting at California School of the Arts-San Gabriel Valley. Some of Riley's favorite roles she has had the opportunity to play include: Katurian in McDonagh's The Pillowman, Izzy in Lindsay-Abaire's Rabbit Hole, and Caylee in Roxie Perkins's Caylee's First Big Show!!! She taught theater at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, California from 2014-2018 where she had the pleasure of directing The Laramie Project, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Into the Woods along with many other plays and musicals. Riley is incredibly passionate about the work On the Verge is doing and thanks the collaborative team she gets to work with daily for their superhuman qualities in helping their visions become experiences.
